• Understanding offshore platform operations and its safety procedures to include

“Safe Work” permit process and JSEA, ISSOW, LOTO

• Proficient in reading and understanding P& I.D’s

• Calibrating, function testing and troubleshooting electrical and pneumatic process instruments such as: Rosemount, Honeywell, Fisher controllers, K-Tek, Nuflo, Orion Atlas, Neo-Dyne, Fisher, Bettis, and Rotork valves.

• Calibrating, function and testing fire and gas detectors and systems such as: General Monitors, Siemens, and Detcon, as well as Gaitronics P/A system..

• Maintenance on offshore platforms, keeping up Control Systems, equipment, PSV’s, electrical and pneumatic check outs, as well as lighting. I/E Technician
