Brief the students daily on dive plan, lead classes in setting up the dive station, equipment start, and supervise the students’ dive. This includes charting depth, dive tables, and decompression schedule, as well as operating a decompression chamber.
As director of diving operations, it is my responsibility to keep inventory of and order breathing air and decompression gases. Also, I am responsible for service and maintenance of all machinery needed to support dives. Also, I was responsible for pricing and contracting a $100,000 building project over our barge system. Responsibility:
Repair, replace, rebuild, and service machinery in a food grade / cosmetics based contract filling company. The majority of equipment was operated by compressed air driven valves, actuated by low voltage electronic switches. Large steam heated, mixing kettles utilizing 480 v motors were also maintained and repaired including welding (repairing and retro fitting) stainless steel mixing paddles.
Maintaining their compressed air and steam systems was also my responsibility as a mechanic.

As service technician, calibrate fuel meters and inspect fuel tanks for rail lines, ranging from 100 k to 2 million gallon capacity. Inspect pipework, valves, control valves and pumps. Responsibility: underwater construction, demolition, and maintenance. Diving, tending, boat operations, radio operator and all other general dive support positions. Use of hydraulic tools including: drills, chainsaws, grinders and metal saws as well as underwater torch and welding equipment. Background checks and badging for unrestricted plant access into Exelon, PPL, and Constellation nuclear plants, steam generating plants and hydroelectric dams. Most work for this company was in nuclear power plants in a radiological controlled area. Inspected, cleaned and repaired torus and suppression pools. Remainder of work took place on the intake, fore bay, traveling water screen and pump bay areas.
