SKILLS
As cliché as it sounds, I am a people person. I excel in any scenario that requires interacting with people. I have excellent interpersonal and communication skills. I am an initiative-taker when the opportunity presents itself, and people often look to me for answers, and I am quick to find the answers. On a more personal note, I am a home cook and love all aspects of food preparation and event planning. I am an extremely patient person, and I enjoy being busy.

IN MY POSITION AS A PRESCHOOL TEACHER, I INTERACT DAILY WITH UP TO 30 SMALL CHILDREN, OTHER TEACHERS AND ADMINISTRATORS AS WELL AS THE PARENTS OF THESE CHILDREN. I DESIGNED AND IMPLEMENTED A DAILY SCHEDULE AND UTILIZE A PRESCRIBED AGE APPROPRIATE CIRRICULUM FOR THE CLASS OF UP TO FOURTEEN 3- AND 4-YEAR OLDS. I MANAGE BEHAVIOR AND SOCIAL INTERACTIONS WITH THE KIDS AND ENSURE THEY ARE SAFE AND WELL CARED FOR WHILE IN MY CHARGE.

11/2015 – 6/2020 NURSERY SCHOOL TEACHER •
TEMPLE BETH EL SCHOOL
Organized and implemented daily schedule for up to fourteen three-year olds for a day program, 5 days a week. Managed the classroom, with particular attention paid to the social development as well as academic instruction. Interacted with students daily on a personal level as well as parents. Participated in company’s fundraising and morale and continuing ed programs.

Answered to GM. Managed time share ownership. Showed properties and processed and kept records of HOA payments. Organized and processed owners wanting to sell their units and/or who were in default.

Online and on the phone, using the company’s reservations software, interacted with customers, scheduled, and changed reservations for owners and customers. Took online third-party reservations. Processed payments for reservations. Kept records, organized, and sorted issues with room blocking and assignments.

Researched and showed properties to interested buyers. Listed and showed properties of interested sellers. Wrote sales contracts. Managed buyers’ and sellers’ requirements throughout the sales process to closing. Attended sales meetings and property tours. VOLUNTEER EXPERIENCE OR LEADERSHIP
My volunteer experience has varied from nursery school fundraising events while living in New York, to Hospitality chair for the PTA of Tomoka Elementary 2014/2015 school year. Also, while living overseas, I served as the Hospitality Chair for a Large fundraiser BINGO night with over one thousand people in attendance. I have been a parent volunteer with Volusia County Schools as well as both Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts of America.
* The extended break in employment was a direct result of the pandemic of 2020.
