• Expert in Peace and Security: worked as a lecturer at Kenya Methodist University, I specialize in international conflict/peace studies, governance, and social development in the rural setting. I am author of a book on power-sharing and conflict management in Somalia and numerous academic papers on governance and peacebuilding.
• Passionate Activist: Active participation in advocacy networks, including civil society groups for debt cancellation in Somalia, democratization pressure groups, and humanitarian service coordination forums.
