April 2020 to Present

I work for The Laboratory of Approval and Testing Division where we test for Aflatoxin in peanuts before they are distributed to buyers who make different products from the peanuts such as candy bars, peanut oils, peanut butter, cookies, etc. The chemist do the testing in the back and I receive all paperwork to be reviewed for any mistakes and make any corrections if needed before I send out results/documents to the buying points and/ or customers. That way they know if they can use those peanuts for production or not. I answer the phone and help all customers to the best of my ability to keep from slowing down production in the back. I assist in the back when needed like checking in samples through out the day and logging them in under the correct location codes so that the billing is correct. I keep record of every item that is shipped in or out of the laboratory and office. I help dispose of peanuts we do not need after grinding them. I file all paperwork accordingly, which includes all certificates with original paperwork from the customers, daily tracking sheets, and certificates. When assistance is needed I perform any IT work that is needed whether it be with our server, computers, modems, computer programs such as excel or any of our spread sheets when acting up; our phone lines, and anything else that needs to be fixed or adjusted to accordance with our daily duties. I started here in November of 2018 after leaving the billing position at the dentist office to be closer to home and my kids school. I am currently the Billing Coordinator for the Hospital.
