Worked as Senior SQL Systems Engineer both remotely and on location in the Financial Accounting Control Systems Department located in Charlotte, NC. Initially worked as a contractor for the following time periods, (Oct 2013 – Mar 2015), (Sept 2016 – Sept 2018), and (March 2019 – March 2020). Worked full time from (April 2020 – April 2024). The position was eliminated as the result of an assessment of business and staffing needs.

On boarded several new entities into the ETL (Extract Transform Load) process from source files and table to data warehouse database tables. Resulting tables are accessible by downstream users using various reporting tools such as Views, SSRS, Python, and BI applications.

Key contributor on team to add incremental “delete” and “insert” logic to store procedures thus eliminating dead locks and table locking so the nightly processes could continue without intervention.

Developed and Implemented many stored procedures to reconcile detailed transaction data to general ledger data for various user accounts.

Key contributor on team that restructured all store procedures, views, and tables to new table formats to allow for growth and flexibility for SQL developers, SSRS Developers, and downstream users.

Key contributor on team that analyzed and corrected long running procedures cutting the overall nightly processing time by more than 60%.
