As consultant, my main duties were to assist in every capacity possible for the submittal of RFP’s (Request for Proposal) for airport concessions. Review RFP’s writing executive summaries, reviewing airport leases and advising owner of issues that may be of interest or change from any previous lease. Reviewing all possible locations, enplanements counts, etc. Met with ACDBE companies for partnership. Attended conferences for ongoing participation.
Relocated to Boston to open new concept at Boston Logan Airport. Supervised construction, work closely with Architects, Mass Port, Terminal management and franchise support to meet owner’s goals and objectives with a timely opening. Updated Work in Progress Reports, Store Opening Reports, equipment status and scheduling installation. As a Badge Coordinator for the Port Authority, ensured employees, guest, invitees and vendors were allowed to work or perform tasks in the terminal. Advertised, auditioned, hired and trained new team members. Prepared for both soft and hard opening, Handled the day to day operations until the unit was up and running with GM trained and in place. Contract ended and did not wish to renew or remain in Boston.
