Adapt to schedule changes as necessary and procure all necessary components/ingredients to run product and make sure to have the warehouse spacing capability.

Work with vendors and plant staff to ensure deliveries and capabilities run smoothly.

Coordinate with plant staff to optimize the scheduling process (Changeovers, sequencing, sanitation and performance). Identify any conflicts and communicate with plant staff over any issues. Execute any cycle counting and physical inventory planning while working with teams from other departments and plants.

Responsible for ordering specialty items for wheelchairs. Searching for new vendors both domestically and internationally to make parts.

Sending out the drawings Engineering creates for pricing. Negotiating pricing with vendors.

Selecting the vendor to award each part to and sending out a First Article Inspection order to validate they can make our parts to print. Keeping in constant touch with vendors to move product along in a timely manner. Keeping all team members aware of where everything is in the process. Keeping in constant touch with Project Managers and Engineering. Ensuring the parts are immediately brought to QC and Engineering to validate them.

Once passed, placing First Production Orders, and tracking all orders to maintain a New Product Launch date.

Production Control Administrator

Responsible for management and oversight of production control. Ensure that required planning and internal Procurement activities are completed to support delivery of kits to the Assembly areas in support of contracted customer requirements, delivery commitments, and corporate on-time delivery goals and objectives.

Analyze data for company requirements. Verify appropriate order quantities are established at planning inception to support firm orders, customer repairs forecast, and to meet required kit dates to assembly areas while achieving and maintaining appropriate inventory levels. Forecasting product. Plan workflow, manage multiple priorities and meet daily production targets.

Review shortage reports and verify progress towards filling shortages with the production team to insure timely completion. Develop new procedures and processes to improve production accuracy.

Work with Purchasing Manager/team to coordinate/schedule the delivery of sub-contract machined and or direct purchased components to support production requirements. Put out Request for Quote for existing product for better value. Verify lead times for purchased product.

Delegate work responsibilities and set priorities for other departments.

Other duties included: Assist with invoicing product, work with internal/external auditors to ensure compliance, tracking workflow, responsible for creating Bill of Materials for finished goods, investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies and responsible for analyzing / creating work orders for CNC Department and the Assembly department.
