Lead multiple teams using SAFe to implement a new check processing system. This endeavor constituted working with 14 teams across four departments. I fulfilled the RTE role for a portion of the

$25M effort. This enabled me to help implement many reporting processes that were used throughout the project.

Lead multiple efforts to improve user HOST systems to allow for newer technologies to interact with legacy systems, including one effort which enabled developers to use modern looks like Eclipse to interact, develop, and compile code to run on the Mainframe. This six- month effort that cost $500,000 to implement, saves USAA $2.1M annually on hardware and software licenses.

Managed the effort to build, upgrade, and rollout a new desktop software version to 25,000 users without a major incident throughout migration. The project had several objectives to crossover but through communication, vendor coordination and support, and dedication from the team, we delivered to the users successfully.

Re-engineered how USAA handles mainframe contracts. Through this effort, USAA saves $31M annually.

Individually lead the effort on hardware consolidation, coordinating hardware and software changes with the vendors and software product placements to save USAA $15M annually in maintenance and software costs.

Facilitated the effort to consolidate data centers saving USAA $6.2M annually. EDUCATION
