An old coworker recommended me to the owner of this company. He was swamped with work and needed someone to lead a medical facility in Indiana. After that project I fell into a working roll to help other foreman complete their projects. I was in charge of completing a large fire alarm for a client. Lead Electrician/ Project Foreman

Marrs Electric-Louisville, KY

January 2019 to January 2021

Lead Electrician

Trans Electric-Louisville, KY

May 2017 to January 2019

I started with Trans as a Foreman and oversaw a few projects at University of Louisville. After being employed with them for a month, I received a letter from the owner saying how much of an impact I made in just 6 weeks. He received a call from the Director of Construction at the University of Louisville saying how I took a project over from another Foreman and turned it around in such short time! This led to me being given a nice little raise and having that letter that I take pride in for being noticed for my hard work! After completing a few more jobs at U of L, I went to Jeffboat to help another Foreman with maintenance contract work. After the unexpected closure of Jeffboat I had worked at various commercial projects. I left this company after owner passed away and they closed the doors. Self Employed/Real Estate

Louisville, KY

March 2014 to April 2017

I wanted to try my hand at something new at this time. I teamed up with a family member and began buying real estate, remodeling and selling. I did this for a few years and learned a lot along the way. After a few years my partner decided to take another path, and we stopped working together, and I went back to what I knew and that was electrical work

IBEW Local 369

Marine Electric/Comstock Bros.-Louisville, KY

June 2009 to February 2014

I worked on projects doing all phases of an electrical system. I spent most of this time at Marine Electric until their unexpected closing. After that the project I had been working on doing jobs and maintenance was taken over by Comstock Bros. Electric. I worked their for about another year until the recession caused work to dry up. I took this time to try my hand at other forms of income and teamed up with family member and tried a new business venture

Helper to Foreman

Wagner Electric-Louisville, KY

August 1999 to May 2009

This is where I started my electrical career as a green helper. I spent everyday trying to learn all I could and quickly was an apprentice foreman requested to be on their projects. They saw I was serious about my job and wanted to become a great electrician. I entered the apprenticeship and made A grades throughout and graduated with a strong knowledge of the trade. I took that and coupled it with hard work and started an ascension to the top! I worked under their top Foreman/ Project Managers so I learned the correct way to do the job. Im lucky to have been able to learn from a great solid group of guys and that opened a lot of doors for me and I'm still thankful today for that experience. I worked hard and after 8 years I was promoted to Project Foreman. Worked and/or oversaw many projects from commercial buildings to steel factories. After almost 10 years of service I left to pursue bigger and better opportunities at Local Union 369 with Marine Electric
