Duties and Responsibilities:

Stage wise implementation of quality as per contract specifications.

Implement quality plan and ISO procedures on site.

Setting up and managing the test benches QC activities.

Perform all daily inspection and test of the scope character necessary to achieve the quality of work required in the drawings and specifications for all works under the contract performed ON or OFF site.

Review and make recommendation for approval of all submitted materials by the contractor.

Ensure compliance of used materials with the projects specifications.

Participate in construction quality control.

Supervise, participate and direct sampling and testing of all materials according to the contract and the specifications.

Maintain records of test results and all taken corrective actions.

Track and review the site testing and certificates of compliance.

Follow up and verify implementation of corrective actions.

Ensure inspection and checking of all delivered materials to site for conformance to the project requirements and approval.

Cary out inspection and checking for all quality related procedures in the site and ensures activity at the site are as per approved method statement and inspection test plan.

Coordinate with the client’s representative and project management team for inspection and meeting about quality problems including the closure of Non-Compliance Report.

Taking care of QA/QC documents of the entire project including certificates, calibration, test results, inspection requests, non-compliance reports and site instruction/observations, permanent materials delivered and other QA/QC documents. Responsible for the closure of Non-conformance, NCR and Site Instructions.

Develop method statement for the activity including risk assessment and job safety environmental analysis and Inspection Test Plan and Checklist based on specifications of the project.

Carry out Internal Audit at the site as scheduled in the Project Quality Plan, PQP.

Provide technical support to the project manager and necessary guidance to site staff in submission of material for approvals, inspection requests, shop drawings, preparation of project quality plans, schedules, as built drawings, O&M Manual, prepare & update quality records, drawing control and to set up companies established integrated management system in the project.

Assist QA/QC Manager in conducting internal quality audits as per the annual audit plan as and when required.

Identifying and immediately resolving or halting activity in circumstances where serious breach or Health, Safety or Environmental standard is witnessed.

Liaise the Technical manager for submission of material submittals to client.

Supervise contractor’s works and maintain the required records and associated registers.

Verify measures of works completed and prepare regular reports on the progress.

Review and comment on contractor submissions.

Attend inspections with authorities.

Review design and assist in co-ordination with other disciplines to ensure constructability.

Provide all necessary on-site direction and issue site instructions.

Ensure all material inspection and testing is carried out in accordance with the specification and the contract requirements.

Review and prepare responses to contractor’s submissions (i.e. Method Statements, RFIs, ITPs, etc.)

Observe site safety and issue notices as appropriate.

Report to Resident Engineer and update on issues as required.

Participate in planning, risk identification & assist in resolution of issues in a timely manner.

Check instructions are being carried out.

Ensure accuracy and completeness of records, including As Built documentation.

Prepare documentation for the completed works for client Hand-over.

Ensure Contractor is working to latest approved Shop Drawings. Educational Qualifications:

Bachelor of Technology in Civil Engineering from JRN University of Rajasthan Vidhyapeet University, (year 2007)

Diploma in Civil Engineering from Govt. Polytechnic College, Warangal, Telangana, A.P. (1998) Software Skills:

AutoCAD 2000, 2002, 2008 & 2010

OS Windows Xp, Vista, 7 & 8
