Within this role I supervise and monitor the safety of children while under my purview. I prepare and organize mealtimes and snacks for children. It is also a part of my responsibilities to help children keep good hygiene by changing the diapers of infants and toddlers. To support the children’s development I organize activities and implement a curriculum that allows children to learn and develop for the next level. Additionally it is my responsibility to develop schedules and routines to ensure that children have enough physical activity, rest, and playtime. I watch for signs of emotional or developmental problems in children and bring potential problems to the attention of parents or guardians. We keep records of children’s progress, routines, and interests.
