I am currently leading the clinic optimisation project for two NHS trusts. Working to improve their Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) – Inpatient and Outpatient Referrals process to help reduce the long waiting list and Order Communication & Result Reporting (OCRR) process to be fully paperless. I am leading the analysis of current patient pathways to capture functionality requirements; business process flows; data requirements – statutory product enhancing; and configuration required to support localised operational variances/service integration needs. I determine the scope and requirements for the clinical transformation program that is currently in process. My accountabilities are:
I define and document the current state pathways; pain points; and create opportunities for improvement ‘’As is’’- ‘’To be’’, including paper processes that need consuming in a digitised process, using engaged, persona techniques (i.e., paper picnic, surveys, 1:1 interviews, workshops). Able to effectively carry out effective gap analysis to improve current processes.
I work with NHS Trusts to understand their current state to ensure migration satisfies their requirement and produce annotated future state processes by developing detailed process maps (Visio) and detailed requirements specifications for Content Factory to create new clinical content as needed.
I ensure to produce high-quality detailed requirements to support my work. My accurate and timely report submissions have contributed to my success in delivering projects on schedule.
