Objection: Seeking employment that can allow me to grow with the company. I am a convicted felon who has made mistakes in my past but I have been released and working for over 2 years now and I strive to continue to better myself career wise and feel I am at the time to bring my experiences and skills with a new opportunity.

Skills: OSHA trained, Heavy Machine Operator skills with different equipment such as Excavator (clam bucket trackhoe primarily) forklift, bobcat etc. Working in all elements such as heat, cold, rain, snow. Adapting to last minute issues and able to think quickly on next move to complete job. CPR certified.

Skills with loading and unloading either with heavy equipment or by labor. Able to take direction as well as give direction when needed.

Heavy Machine Operator\ Port

Primarily Trackhoe operator, loading/unloading barges. Filling semi trailers or rail cars with materials as required. Responsible for machine maintenance such as changing filters, oil, fill gas, greasing machine etc. able to use bobcat, forklift, street sweeper etc as the job requires. Also assist in cleaning out Grain tank silos as well as assisted on boat during flood to keep watch for barges or other issues that may occur on river.

Incarcerated: Feb 2015-March 2019

Had different jobs during incarceration before going thru work release program that essentially started my position with Oakley. Worked in Kitchen, Yard work such as mowing, raking, trimming trees bushes etc. Apart of a work crew that would go to various places such as War Memorial Stadium for cleanup, Garvin Woodland Gardens for maintenance and yard work.

Oakley Port: 2011-2012

Mainly Port labor assisted with Silo tanks cleanup inspection on corn/bean truck materials weighing trucks as they come in assisted with unloading materials into barges or tanks.

Incarcerated 2010-2011 worked various inmate jobs such as kitchen yard work etc then put in work release where I started my first position with Oakley Port

Denny’s: 2009-2010

Worked as dishwasher and truck unloading having to assist with weekly order and truck orders unloading and set up dry storage and freezer storage.

Stand up forklift center rider, shipping and receiving, and stowing. Reason for leaving got COVID twice
