Claims Intake Repair Tool (GBD)
Project Scope:
CIRT application automates the pre-adjudication claims repair process. The application receives the claim information from the T837 mapping application, creates a work object, and runs it through various validations and repair steps before updating the final status in the EDINET database. This pre-adjudication claim repair involves subjecting the claim to a set of business edits to improve the chances of its complete and correct adjudication in its first pass through FACETS.
