Senior Project Construction Manager

EVgo Companies, LLC– November 2019 – September 2024

Oversee the local implementation of several interconnected electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure projects in both metro areas and along national highway routes throughout the East Coast and Midwest.

Manage construction crews and oversee several vendors and contractors in my assigned region to secure property, prepare, construct and commission EV charging sites at a range of commercial, retail, municipal and mixed-use property.

Responsibilities will include local vendor and contractor management, coordination with relevant project stakeholders including property owners, authorities having jurisdiction (AHJs), utilities and other resources to ensure successful project completion and adherence to milestones.

Actively source for new business opportunities with existing and new clients.

Hire and manage subcontractors.

Manage crew consisting of a specialized industry related to storm-water design/construction, installation of underground/aboveground storage tanks systems and construction associated with remediation systems/projects.

Responsible for development and management of a team of project managers, field technicians, equipment operators and other related field personnel.

Oversee financial responsibilities associated with program, which includes bids/proposals, cost estimates, capex reviews for each project, overall project reviews and monthly project reconciliations.

Work with Contracts & Procurement Manager to streamline contracts, assure work to be completed, limit exposure and protect overall interests.

Project Construction/Maintenance Manager Gas Station Operations Global Companies LLC - Waltham, MA - April 2013 to June 2017

Manage the construction crews building of CNG/Propane/Retail Gas Station terminal and customer end user sites.

Manage and oversaw installation staff, subcontractors, and superintendents while they are engaged in the construction, installation, and in-service testing of all Retail Gas Station project-related systems.

Managed the day to day operations of the over 400 company operated C-stores. Monitored Veeder Root systems and dispatched contractors. On-Call 24/7 via cell phone or email.

Strong knowledge of Health and Safety issues along with all OSHA & NFPA Codes.

Reviewed and processed vendor invoices to ensure that they were accurate.

Worked with our Property Development team to manage construction crews and vendors building new stations, piping replacements, UST replacements, and dispenser change outs.

Provide guidance and direction as required to adjust operations standards, systems and staffing, to meet specific Retail C-Store Gas Station requirements, or client demands.

Assure regional staff hiring, departures, disciplines, reviews, evaluations, training, and promotions, are accurate, correct, and appropriate.

Fuel Facilities Manager

BJ's Wholesale Club, Inc. - Westborough, MA - March 2012 to March 2013

Oversaw the day to day operations at all BJ's Gas Stations making sure all 110 sites were up and pumping.

Worked with our Property Development team to manage construction crews and vendors building new stations, piping replacements, and dispenser change outs.

On-Call 24/7 via cell phone or email. I was BJ's A/B operator in CT, MA, RI, and NC.

Maintained a fiscal year budget for all projects, sending out bids to contractors and making sure all projects stayed within or under budget. Help develop and train BJ's gas attendants to be Class C operators. EDUCATION
