Latin America Portfolio Strategy Manager - Chevron

Defined long term strategy for all operations in LA. Recommend, lead and participate in execution of all major transactions in the region. Large complex multifunctional projects require leadership skills and field experience.

Headed the divestment of Chevron operation in Western Caribbean. Project included Retail, Consumer and Industrial (C&I) and Aviation operations in 9 countries, including 550 Service stations (S/S) and 4 legal entities (LE) to be sold. Expected proceeds is $550 MM.

Lead divestment of Chevron operation in Eastern Caribbean Central and SA. Project included Retail, C&I and Aviation operations in 15 countries. This divestment Included sale of 11.5% equity in SARA refinery and 174 S/S in 7 different LE.PSA signed in Nov 2010 for total value of $310 MM.

Directed divestment of Chevron operation in Haiti. Project included Retail, C&I and Aviation operations. Transaction included sale of 58 S/S, 1 supply terminal, 1 aviation facility and 120 consumer accounts. PSA signed in 2009 for total value of $62 MM.

Lead divestment of Chevron operation in Brazil. Project included Divestment of Retail and C&I operations with 2,166 S/S and 1,200 C&I and 22 terminals with other marketing equipment. Share PSA signed in 2009 for $730 MM.

Lead divestment of Chevron operation in Uruguay. Project included Divestment of Retail, C&I and Lubricant operations in Uruguay, including sale of 90 S/S and 18 C&I sites. PSA was signed in 2006 for total value of $30 MM.

Lead divestment of Chevron operation in Paraguay. Project included Divestment of operation in Paraguay. PSA signed in 2006 for total value of $10 MM.

Negotiated with potential buyers, developed deal structure, coordinated data room preparation, and conducted internal due diligence. Negotiated PSA, coordinated all communication with all stakeholders including government.

Negotiated with Venezuelan Government on compensation terms for downstream assets that were nationalized.
