• I took several roles at Heart and Vascular Care. I scrubbed in as a primary assistant and scrub tech in PAD cases for aortic angiography, lower extremities interventions with PTA, atherectomy and stenting one day a week. As a primary assistant, I prepared PVD lab table for procedure and provided valuable suggestions throughout the procedure. I learned to operate Ziehm. I would enter preliminary findings in angiograms in the report for my review and finalization. I stocked the labs and maintained inventory with multiple vendors.
• I performed exercise and nuclear stress tests 2 days a week. I was trained to do ankle brachial index and interpret Holter ECG monitors. I was doing preliminary reading of transthoracic echocardiograms.
• Completed EKGs and other tests based on patient presentation in office.
• Directed patients to exam rooms, fielded questions, and prepared for physician examinations.
• Oversea the overall activity of the office clinic Internist: Assistant professor in the department of Internal Medicine:
• I have worked at inpatient, outpatient clinic, coronary care unit and critical care unit of two university hospital. My role as an internist was both clinician and academician.
