An International Management Consulting firm with 150 clients served throughout the world. Have worked as advisor, lead and player-coach in major IT initiatives.
1963 1987– with breaks Administrator/Associate Professor/Senior Management Consultant/ Senior Lecturer/ Research Associate Professor: In administrative role at the University of Nebraska. I was responsible for line and staff functions delivering information processing services to a multi-campus university. At the same time, I designed and taught graduate and undergraduate courses in the departments of Computer Science, Statistics and Management Science.

Coordinated testing in advanced manufacturing facility. Advised firm on Y2K potential problems and solutions.

Plan directed and led the creation of the first integrated Library/City/Industry Web site managed by a City Library in the US in Papillion Nebraska. In addition to the technical issues, the plan included getting the library to assume control of the responsibility for the Web site and getting the architects for the new library to include the existence of citizen access site in that design. Also recruited and established a citizen advisory committee to oversee the operation. This activity appeared in a number of papers

Worked with the Leipzig Sud commission to establish a long rage plan for this depressed are after it had become a part of the new Germany. See Entwicklungsstrategien in der Informationsgesellschaft, Springer 2001 My chapter is entitled An Advanced Business Park.
Another set of work concentrated on how to improve the unemployment situation in Germany by concentrating on the opportunities possible for building on or leapfrogging other IT developments in small lab clusters.
