Responsibilities
I am responsible for the calibrations of all measuring equipment, inspection fixtures, maintaining the documentation for these to AS9100 and Nadcap satisfaction. I am also the lead inspector which means I am responsible for inspecting our most demanding parts using a cmm, romer arm, and creaform white light scanner. I have to write an inspection program using the piece of equipment most suited for the part. Then complete the first article inspection paperwork. For the last 4-1/2 years I had been the quality manager
Accomplishments
Before me, most individuals that held this job, did not last more than two years. I am about to hit fifteen years doing this job. I have successfully done this by creating a system by which has reduced time involved by using the company database to monitor usage. Also, I have become a more efficient programmer.
