MACHINE OPERATION – SANDBLASTING

*I perform both manual and automatic sandblasting. Once chemicals and temperature levels are checked on machines, I start by degreasing pipes or balls by washing them first in a CT tank concentration machine that contains hot water temperature between (160F180F), and concentration PH range between (7 – 9%) with chemical ANPROX 702 associated to AQUA KLEAN RP700 and indicator H319. The next step is stamping on them and masking with clay or double side adhesive tape.

* I use 3 different Grit:

- ALUMINUM OXIDE - STEEL GRIT - SILICA CARBIDE

* First, I check Grit level in the hopper, I check the pressure and temperature. I lift pipes or balls with crane from the racks to the blaster machine, I set up measurements and stator in the machine panel control and start the process’

* When the cycle is done, I check the surface with a flashlight to make sure it’s not shining. And then I check the roughness with a profilometer which should be between 210-270 range to be perfect and ready to be released to the next operator.

RIG – SPRAY PAINT OPERATOR

* As a spray paint operator, I mix up chemical paints (Primer 205 –Adhesive 250X /Primer 207 –Adhesive 259 / Primer Cilbond 10 – Cilbond 12 Adhesive) those chemicals were used to spray tubes and agitator pipes. I used to paint in 2 cycles, the first one is done with the primer chemical, the 2nd one is done with the Adhesive.
