Senior Technical Architect

CarMax B2B required a re-architecture of the Auctions and MaxOffer programs originally developed by Acumen into a new single package called Single Dealer. This re-architecture included a complete refactoring of the data model and user experience. After completion of this project, we then delivered MaxOffer Arbitration. As a part of the re-architecture, we introduced AT4DX for Selectors, Domains, and Services.

Senior Technical Architect (Steampunk)

Worked on 2 of the USDA agriculture projects using Experience Cloud, Flows, LWC, and Apex. The projects were intended to make it easier for farmers to apply for specific grants, and for the USDA to have a much easier time processing those applications to conclusions.

Senior Technical Architect (Steampunk)

Worked on the State Department’s Counter Terrorism modernization project. This project entailed moving global project tracking capabilities from Excel spreadsheets to the Salesforce platform. The purpose of this project was to reduce errors and cost.

Technical Lead (Steampunk)

Acuity required a surge team to work on failing unit tests and lagging code coverage, as well as resolve Fortify scan issues. Once surge team successfully resolved initial failing unit tests, code coverage, and Fortify scan issues, lead the surge team to them pick up user stories to assist Acuity meeting their November deadline for UAT. Once November UAT deadline was met, transitioned to working on the implementing Acuity’s desired SSO solution and integration, Certipath. Work included Apex, Fortify, Aura Lightning Development, Apex, Flows, REST APIs, and SSO.

Senior DevOps Architect (Steampunk)

Acuity was suffering from a lack of DevOps process and discipline in change management. Worked with their DevSecOps team to set up a DX DevOps CI/CD Pipeline. Assisted customer’s administrators and developers in the adoption of the new DX DevOps Pipeline, and adherence to the new change management process.

Technical Lead (Steampunk)

DCMA decided to pivot to PowerApps for the MAI initiative. Worked with DCMA and our new team of developers to lift and shift development over to Microsoft PowerApps, starting with PMC.

Senior Technical Architect (Steampunk)

DCMA MAI Initiative intended to migrate DCMA’s legacy SharePoint solutions to the Salesforce platform, starting with PMC, CMT, and IWMS. Project included setup of Salesforce DevOps, Box integration and automation, Apex REST API calls, Process Builders, Flows, Lightning Screen Flows, and Lightning Pages. Delivery of each MVP in 3-month deliveries.

Helped Veterans Administration correct the Copado DevOps in the Main Org, then assisted the DTC Team in setting up and using DX DevOps and Development in the new Orgs and projects for VAVET and VALOB. This allowed System Implementation Teams to break up their development work and deployment dates, specific to the project and application in more atomic and isolated packages.

Helped a non-profit that specializes in investor accreditations, to remove their dependency on Fonteva Member Nation for managing Societies. This project included careful replication of Fonteva provided customized functionality, as well as real time data synchronization triggers, leading up to the migration of users from Fonteva to native solution. Project work was completed ahead of schedule and under budget.

Senior Salesforce DevOps

Helped a non-profit that specializes in security certifications for financial institutions to correct their DevOps for Salesforce deployments. Before initiative, customer was only capable of deploying 2 to 3 changes per quarter, and deployments often took 2 to 3 days, or more. Did discovery on customer’s current state, drew up a plan for migrating them to source control-based deployments. After working with the customer to freeze development, reset environments, set up new deployment pipeline, and training developers, the customer has since been able to do 2 to 3 deployments per day, and each deployment takes on average, 1 hour.
