Military Experience
Summary
Completed four years of service in the US Army as a Combat Medic/ Healthcare Specialist. Completed term with honorable status. Underwent two separate nine-month deployments for the US Army: Operation Iraqi Freedom in Iraq 2011-12 and Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan 2013-14. While working in hazardous environments, became faultlessly reliable in dangerous and stressful scenarios. Trained and certified on Basic Life Saving and also received an Emergency Medical Technician license. Have demonstrated the ability to train individuals in complex tasks. Completed a course in the Combat Life Saving program receiving certification, going onto instructing service men and women on how to save lives in a combat situation where a medic is not readily available. Also accomplished Clinical training for eleven months, while working under the supervision of Nurses, and Physician Assistants.

Operation Iraqi Freedom: Iraq
●While deployed in Iraq 2011-12 required to work as primary medical personnel for 250 service men and women.
●Required to ensure sanitary living conditions, and re-educating individuals that were below necessary living conditions on possible contraction of illness from uncleanliness.
●Trained all personnel in Combat Life Saving course, additional training was provided for those who required it resulting in 100% completion and understanding.
●Responsible for periodic delivery of sensitive, high value medical equipment and medications.
●Job duties and experience lead to recognition and promotion.
●Operated on 24/7 work call for nine months, completing complex tasks with lack of adequate sleep.
Operation Enduring Freedom: Afghanistan
●During deployment in Afghanistan required to work alongside another Combat Medic providing medical support for a Personal Security Detail.
●Worked closely with highest ranked officials in the company and responsible for their wellbeing.
●Issued safety plan of action before complex maneuvering patrols with possible medevac and extraction locations.
●Ensured every personnel had adequate medical supplies for use in case of emergencies.
●Conducted routine medical screenings on individual basis among personnel attached to.

Fort Hood Monroe Health Clinic
●Required to screen Servicemen and women prior to treatment plan being implemented.
●Worked closely with Nurses, Physician Assistants, Physicians and Behavioral Health personnel.
●Assisted in the treatment of injuries, and illnesses.
●Initially sent to work at the medical clinic for a three-month period but was extended for eleven months due to a strong work ethic.

●High School Diploma received at Waterville Senior High School in 2008.
