Dell
Software Engineer 1 June 2021 – Feb 2024
• Designed and implemented the Generation Tool, automating the generation of simulation data and validation test scripts, streamlining testing process and ensuring comprehensive test coverage.
• Implemented Simulation Server enabling the injection of simulation data into D-Bus Properties, enhancing testing capabilities and system reliability.
• Developed and deployed a user-friendly web GUI interface for the Generation tool, simplifying the Generation Tool’s accessibility and usability for the users.
• Assumed primary ownership of the iDRAC attribute registry and its associated subsystem infrastructure.
• Led the automation of the iDRAC attribute registry change request ticketing, significantly improving efficiency in ticket handling and relieving human resources from manual ticket management tasks.
• Authored High-Level Design (HLD) documents and behavior specifications, providing clear guidelines and documentation for development and testing teams.
Huawei
Software Development Engineer Intern May 2020 – Aug 2020
• Worked in 5G development team as a full-stack engineer based on React JS and MongoDB.
• Implemented an equipment data conversion program by writing MySQL queries to assist the clients to upgrade from U2000 to Network Cloud Engine using Python, JDBC, and Shell Script, speeding up the upgrading process by 30%.
• Participated in SRv6 Policy’s development; reproduced developer bugs, communicated actively with the team, and successfully fixed 90% bugs in the feedback list.
• Implemented a program to auto-generate tunnel data from the database for the clients to download daily through the hierarchical file system using Crontab, JDBC, and Python, eliminating 90% manual maintenance. PROJECT
• Automated Validation Framework (Python, C++/C)
o The Automated Validation Framework (AVF) is a comprehensive solution developed to automate testing, simulate data, and validate iDRAC functionalities. The framework ensures software quality, efficiency, and reliability through its robust simulation and validation capabilities. o The framework offers the capability to inject simulation data into iDRAC, encompassing both software simulation for data abstraction (D-Bus) and hardware simulation for devices such as i2c/CPLD/GPIO, enhancing testing flexibility and coverage.
o Leveraging predefined validation modeling and existing metadata, AVF automatically generates test scripts and simulation data. This feature streamlines the testing process, improving efficiency and accuracy.
