Responsibilities

My responsibilities include taking customer merchandise to their vehicles without damaging or harming both vehicle, and upholstery while loading customer purchases. Loads can be anywhere from 70lbs to 1500lbs or more. I had to obtain a OSHA certification, forklift license, and lastly a hazmat certification. I enjoy this job so much. I can install light fixtures, and help clients install outlets, and other household items. This company is the best company to work they offer internships for college students that help certify them in any department. I work the lumber department, and pull orders. I cut lumber into the correct sizes for customer orders. I help set up, and break down the warehouse by opening, and closing. I walk the lumber, and drywall out onto pallets for customers to see what the prices look like continually or daily for commercial buyers. I work the garden department, clean the plant, and garden section with a leaf blower, and lawn garden tools in the morning, every morning. I help customers with their purchases, and upsell anything in the store. I'll even help explain how to use merchandise if they don't understand how to use it.

My Neutral Pallet! This job was amazing! My responsibilities included everything from opening to closing. Counting the till. Paying out employees. I call, and reschedule employees who are no call no shows for our establishment because we work a fast paced quick turnover company with a very young demographic. It's the best place to work if you want to be a chef or line prep cook in the big league's. It's meant to condition all employees for a real career whether that's waffle house, or as an actual Chef with a separate company. The long hours standing, graveyard shifts, and alternating shift work with four burners, and a grill top make for quick decision making, and a sunny disposition. Close quarters! All employees are crammed elbow to elbow on packed shifts so being able to do this while getting along with everyone, and meeting customer satisfaction is a must.
