Have worked for Weston Oaks Apartments for the last four years as, I had retired in Missouri and found myself in love with Florida, my husband and I sold our home and relocated in 2018. I have been employed as a Leasing Agent using my former job listed below to issue customer service to individuals who are looking for an apartment. My position consisted of having interested people come into the office and with my help I would answer all questions, assist them in filling out an application for screening. After, screening, depending on whether we had an available apartment for them or they would go on to a waiting list. I then sent their application into Compliance and since this is a HUD authorized complex there were several rules and regulations that must be met before they were passed by Compliance. Whether they were on a 30, 60, or Section 8 several items of paperwork had to be performed and signed before I could print a 12 month lease. Other software used was Outlook, Yardi, Rent Café, not to mention all other Windows 11 software. There was also marketing, emailing, scanning, updating files and receiving monthly rent from residents. I retired in 2016 along with my husband and moved to Arkansas to begin our retirement. Leasing Agent 1502 Michigan was a complete HUD Complex that I was put in charge of taking applications, again screening and processing the applications through Section 8 of the County of Jasper. When they had passed their screening we had apartments ready for occupation. The applicant had to have an income that would qualify them move in within a reasonable time. Again, there was lease signing, monthly rent received telephone calls to be answered, constant emailing and was also in charge of marketing, filing the signed leases. One, of the most important aspects of this job was I worked at two different locations. The second location was a senior citizen complex at 101 Main Street in Joplin, Missouri. During the day I also entered Work Orders for maintenance while, watching a four window screen for coming and going of unknown individuals.

I took an eight week training course on HIPAA laws and types of medications before starting as a patient care advocate. I worked under a grant as a clerk, receptionist, and participant tracker at the Career Center following the May 2011 tornado. I answered phones and fielded questions regarding placement of debris crews and construction workers. I also issued instructions and daily locations to workers as well as tracking their hours. I was also in charge of paper work for background checks.

I was a credit representative for customers who had orders that had been cancelled or lost at Best Buy. I was responsible for contacting banks and other institutions to either refund money or find the missing order.
