2/2021-5/2021 – Mathematics SPED Inclusion at Paul Breaux Middle School
- This position consists of giving support to SPED kids with a variety of deficiencies to be included in the 6th, 7th and 8th grade Math regular classroom setting. - This position consists of teaching Financial Literacy, Career Readiness, and Math Enrichment.
- Financial Literacy – developing and implementing financial math vocabulary, and teaching students how to use calculators to figure out various real life situations (paychecks, interest rates, discounts, etc.)
- Career Readiness – preparation for the ACT Workkeys Test for the students that are involved in the Jumpstart program.
- Math Enrichment – assisting low performing students in Pre-Algebra, Algebra, Geometry, and Math Essentials to improve their knowledge.
2017-2018 - Head Boys’ Basketball Coach and Secondary Math Teacher at Avoyelles High School
- This position consisted of teaching Geometry and Math Essentials. My class scored the highest of any class at Avoyelles High School since the inception of the EOC in Geometry.
- Math Essentials at Avoyelles High School served as a Pre-Algebra course to some students that scored poorly on their 8th grade Math tests.
