Single handily coordinated with the software design team for Residential Treatment Program, RTP, tracker to mitigate weekly and monthly discrepancies within the system. Once the software was revamped immediately lead department wide program to zero discrepancies within all measurable aspects and has continued to sustain zero discrepancies. Provided direct, hands-on, training to all RTP officers to help the department continue to have zero discrepancies and in turn ensure future federal funding of the program. I continually monitor all data entries for errors to ensure the success of the training program as well as modifying the program to ease the adaptation, and acceptance, of other officers.
Plans, organizes and coordinates with the education department to ensure that inmates receive proper educational opportunities to include both in-class and distant learning. The educational opportunities range from GED, vocational, bilingual and college. Facilitates with mental health and case managers sustainable programs to help offenders develop self-management skills and pro-social behavior through intensive mental health treatment, therapeutic and recreational activities. To ensure that the facility destroys the state standard recidivism rate of 50% by maintaining a 30%recidivism rate. Utilizes Departmental software to document, track, and analyze offender treatment progress through offered programs. Then using said data to determine the effectiveness of programs offered to maximize the positive effects on the inmates while minimizing spending.
