Work Experience
Maintenance Technician
Pace International Inc-Wapato, WA
February 2024 to Present
I fix mixing tanks, agitators, motors gear boxes, and more. I do a lot of welding and I am trained in confined spaces, as well as running lifts and fork lifts ext. I also work on the boiler quite a bit and do the water testing every day at Pace. I am willing to explain in more detail if I get an interview! Thank you. Machine Operator/Assembler
ProWest-Wapato, WA
March 2018 to September 2018
At Prowest, I did anything & everything the owner Jason needed done. I ran an Amada Laser, a Water Jet cutter, and an Acupress press brake, and an Amada press brake. I would cut the parts, and form them according to the blueprints, and then I would pack them up on the truck and trailer, and deliver them to the job site, and then assemble them at the job site. I cleaned the entire shop and inventoried everything within the shop. Jason kept me on as long as he could, as he had planned on selling the business. He & I were the only two working for the last month or so. I would probably still be working there if he didn't have to shut his company down.
Machine Operator
Irwin research & development-Yakima, WA
January 2015 to August 2017
Form parts according to blueprints on an Amada RG series press brake. Run 1 off parts and first article parts. I also ran a CNC Plasma Cutter.
I re-wrore all of my programs so that I could fill the work orders in record timing without flaws or scrapping any material. My parts were so accurate to the prints, my supervisor had the inspector look them over, because he had never seen them come out as i had produced them, and they were perfect, and never out of tolerance. This was what made it apparent that the operator who worked my machine before me didn't have a thorough understanding of programming or the use of proper tooling, so I corrected all of these issues prior to leaving Irwin.
I had to unfortunately resign due to severe medical issues I was struggling with at the time. Landscaper/Owner
Green Thumb Landscaping & Lawn Maintenance-Yakima, WA March 2008 to November 2014
I built my landscape company from the ground up. I sub-contracted with most of the biggest home builders in the Yakima Valley as well as provided landscape maintenance services. As owner, I would meet with potential customers and draft a job bid, create contracts, install & maintain landscapes, I took care of my billing & employee payroll, quarterly & annual taxes, built rapport with different vendors & contractors, & won 1st place for category A in the Central Washington Home Builders Association Tour of Homes 3 consecutive years in a row! Leadership skills, had an 8 man crew that I would disburse between 3 jobsites on average.
Punch Laser combo and Press Brake Operator
Magic Metals, Inc-Union Gap, WA
January 2006 to March 2008
Make parts according to blueprint using a 367V Apelio 3. Which is a 58 station turret punch with a Laser head attachment. And then I would form the parts I would make on the Apelio on a Amada Nt press brake according to the blueprint. Of course I learned to use G and M codes to be able to alter my programs on the Apelio and I learned all the tooling and everything to have the machines running the parts efficiently and as quickly as possible. I was also trained on the Vipros punch machines. The company had to lay off several employees due to budget cuts when the economy started to struggle, and I was among the ones that were laid off.
