Independent Project Manager, HATC Feb 2022 – Current Austin, Texas Requested by Housing Authority of Travis County to oversee 280-unit distressed property rehab in Austin. The property had rental registration revoked and 150+ code violations. Key point of collaboration between city officials, code enforcement, owners, office staff, construction contractors, and residents to bring the property into budget and code compliance. Successfully reduced company costs by 50K+. Project Manager, F&H Construction Sept 2017 – Feb 2022 Texas (Statewide) Concurrently managed numerous multi-million dollar projects in Corpus Christi, Dallas, and Austin including ground up garden style apartments, duplexes, and diverse types of specialized multifamily remodels. Ownership of all areas of construction process from pre-construction to final inspection and Certificates of Occupancy. Through successful research, process improvement, and trade negotiation, I was able to reduce company costs by 140K+. Construction Manager, Lennar Homes Aug 2014 – Mar 2016 Austin, Texas Managed the daily scheduling of new home construction from permits to final inspection. Conducted new hire training and trade recruitment. Collaborated with Regional Technical Administrator to help drive technology advancement through research and software deployment, ensuring accessibility of construction plans to Construction Managers and Area Supervisors saving the company an estimated $45K. Make Ready Manager, IMT Riata Feb 2012 – Aug 2014 Austin, Texas Department Head for the largest apartment community in Austin with 2044 garden style units. Managed the daily scheduling, reconditioning, and renovation of vacated apartments. Developed and implemented internal software solution, still in use today, to track and monitor the vacancy status and condition of make ready apartments.
