PROJECTS
Foreman
Year 2020. Big Bear Alpine Zoo- Big Bear, Ca.
AJ Kirkwood-MS Construction
As the 5th foreman taking over it was challenging. Nevertheless the prior foreman's did a fantastic job of red lining and giving detail notes on deviations of plans. Coming in with 480v primaries from Bear Valley electric was interesting. There was 8 buildings in total. Step down transformers for all. Had an veterinary building with lighting controls. Finished the project for MS Construction and the County of San Bernardino. Foreman
Year: 2018. Palos Verde Apartments. El Monte, Ca. RBT Electric-Cannon Construction. Started this project in mid 2017. This 49 units complex features an underground parking structure with a podium deck and fly deck. This project had grey water filtration so installing our duct banks(primary &secondary) there was a little deviations from the original plans. Our switchgear was inside the underground parking structure so we had to core the building. Install link seals and waterproofing inspected. We used green gate lighting controls throughout the entire building. Starting and finishing this project was a great experience for me. I have to say that when we received our certificate of occupancy. I was proud of my team. For every bad day we had. We knew ultimately this was what we all strived for. It was great team work by everyone involved. Lead
Year:2016 Pacific City. Huntington Beach, CA
Helix Electric. Bernards inc
This project is by far the biggest project I have ever been on. 500 units in a horseshoe with 3 Amenities building next to swimming pool. I was doing layouts for rough work, installing mc cable in the amenities building, Ansel system in the kitchen area of amenities. That was a challenging experience. I was asked to attend a training class at Lutron headquarters. There i was certified to install Lutron Radio RA 2 in every penthouse on the project. That's was an experience I'll never forget. Once we finished building 3 of the project. I was asked to take a team of 5 and begin working from building 6 to 5 to 4 where we would meet the other guys. So it was time for the grind and it was chase is the race against the other team. It was a great experience. Working on this project and how big it was. I'll never deal intimidated by any size of another job. I forgot to mention. We had 2 levels of underground parking on this project. I didn't get t to finish the project. But I did leave my mark.
