CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT
I have more than 28 years of construction operational and project management experience. I have worked for various General Contractors where I was responsible for the overall management of numerous multi-million dollar projects. My experience includes leading teams of project managers, superintendents, project assistants, and subcontractors. I have acted as a construction manager representing owners, and real estate investors, and brokers since 2003, when I began Dirk Johnson, LLC. I have significant experience in design build construction. From 2007 to the beginning of 2010 I was the Director of Construction and Facilities for Archbishop Mitty High School. I was responsible for all construction and facilities activities, including planning, budgeting, contractor selection, and coordination of all trades. I have provided field supervision and construction management on various multi- million-dollar projects. My direct responsibilities are for cost control, including owner contract and subcontract negotiation, cost reporting, detailed planning, and preparation of project and maintenance of the CPM schedule. Responsible for coordination of construction activities, both office and field to include safety programs. My daily activities include documenting and negotiating changes in contract work, conducting weekly job progress meetings with owners, architects and subcontractors.

Working closely with the facilities department on miscellaneous repair projects, and upgrades. Providing mentorship to project managers, and interns. Completed projects include:
