December 2013 to Present

I have been going through stage 4 metastatic Breast Cancer, going on 7 years, and will have to continue for the rest of my life! As you can see there has been a gap in between my last job i technically started working at the age of 14 on a workers permit from babysitting several children, as well as cleaning houses. Then my Junior Year of high school i began working at Eastside Réhabilitation and living Ctr there i did diatary Aid, Dishwasher, Cook, Medical records, CNA, Activities assistant, payroll, Ordering supplies, specialty beds, walkers, 02 tanks, drink Supplements, basically every department i could run! I Worked there 10 years then figured I would further my career and started at Miller Drug(State Street) where i worked there for 10 years, then in between working there i did both Miller Drug and Pchc and got diagnosed December 13th 2013 and still worked both jobs for approx a yr and half then decided my primary care office which was PCHC was a better fit for me with what i had going on. So i continued working there till April 2018 i lowered myself down to 6 hr days due to working and treatment was taking the life right out of me. It took me 4 weeks to give my resignation even though my oncologist wanted me to give it sooner i just did not want to give up all my time invested doing something i absoultly loved and the people i worked with and the patients were like my second family, but my Oncologist said "either you are going to work yourself into the ground", or get done and get strength and maybe in the future tou can go back some place part time just to keep myself busy doing what I love.
