In the beginning
A cover Letter
I started out with Wyatt industries in Dallas Texas as a weather helper although my resume doesn't go back that far I will attach it to this email but I worked as a rig welder in jacksboro Texas in 1976. This was a ASME code welding shop ! I pass the flat welding test ! I was on second shift then after passing the code test they want me to work third shift . I told them I wanted to be put back on second shift or day shift . Then I went on to work in various other places,I moved back to my home town of Decatur, Texas and bought a welding rig, I went to work in oil rig yard as a welder .Then in 1980 my wife left me and I came back to DFW area . I hired on to SWR mechanical contractor who worked for schelps dairy, foremost dairy, Borden's milk and Dairy products we installed Chill water also Which was pipe welding! This was a small company and during the seven years I work for them, the work would slow down ! They would would lay me of two to three months . I managed to work for Rick Littleton who work on Chiller and chill water systems and I did some subcontracting. Then in 1985 I was layed off from SWR mechanical. I came across a concrete treatment plant being built in Midlothian Texas. This was for Box Crow and a company out of Houston Texas was the general contractor S&N .After thee months there one day I went out for lunch and as I was returning to the job. My pickup stalled and a TXI concrete truck hit my pickup as I was about turn down a dirt road to go to the entrance to the job . 3 months later I was released from the Bayer rehab after being in the hospital for a month and a half and rehab for a month and a half. The only stipulation that better gave me was I could not go up high and weld during that time I was told by my mother that my performance has said I could come back to work for them once I got out of the hospital. So I proceeded to go back and talk to them about a job and they inform me that all the welders were working out of crane buckets and that's the only work they had at that time. Due to the economy and the rising costs in gasoline companies were not hiring full-time but they were not informing me of that fact it would hire me and I would pass the welding test and they would lay me off. Some even hired me back and was working for short period of time and they off again would know reason for the layoff except that they didn't want higher full time employee or they would have to pay for their insurance and their benefits . Now I have attached my resume which is to this email I'm sending you. If for some reason you receive two of these emails similar to each other is because the first one I sent out didn't I go out. So I'm writing this one and you have understanding of why you got to if another one shows up so . Sincerely Ronnie Bradford on the phone number is 682-***-**** llthis is a working number thank you!
