~ EMPLOYMENT & EXPERIENCE ~

*October, 2013 - Present – Owner/Floral Designer/Instructor/Customer & Public Relations: “Designed by Grace” Jefferson City, MO. My parents owned “The Flower House” in JC, Mo., 1992-1998; after they closed, I have worked with several florists, including: Price Chopper Floral Shop in Liberty, Mo., River City Florist, Gerbes (Super Center & West), Schnucks & Schulte’s IGA (Departmental) Floral Shops, all in JC, Mo. (unless otherwise indicated and In Any Event (Event Planning, Florist & Boutique), Ashland, Mo. Since 2013, however, I started creating various designs as gifts and/or to sell through multiple venues; I also have several designs on display/for consignment in various shops and teach floral designing workshops at local businesses/boutiques. I also create custom arrangements for individuals, including design requests for weddings and seasonal décor. In addition, I also participate in charitable vendor and artisan shows, where my proceeds go to various non-profits, including organizations which support survivors of domestic violence and abuse, particularly involving children and the vulnerable population. (This is a “hobby” (per IRS criteria, but I have grown over the years, through social media, shows and have been referred/requested for various designs and events.)

*October, 2021 – May, 2023: Bush & Patchett, LLC, Attorneys At Law, Columbia, Missouri: Office Administrator/Legal Assistant: Assist two attorneys with providing highly responsible and legal/administrative support in the practice of Real Estate and Business law, which includes but is not limited to: greeting clients, managing schedules, coordinating meetings, maintaining calendars, including trial and hearing dates, researching and preparing legal documents and correspondence, particularly with the filing of Petitions for Rent and Possessions and Breach of Contracts.

I also worked with and utilize legal management systems, including Missouri Court and Missouri Secretary of State accounts, Sage Accounting System, Client Database, including case management systems for electronic data, management of legal files and creation of management reports. I also ensure all salient and appropriate information is shared among clients and attorneys on various files/cases, while maintaining a high degree of confidentiality.

In addition, I was responsible for coordinating with customers/clients, other counsel and individuals to gather/exchange information and documentation related to legal matter. This also includes the procurement and maintenance of legal research and reference materials for the attorneys, including hard copy and electronic materials. While not needed for this specific Firm have also had Administrative and legal experience with Family Law, Discovery, EOA, etc. for Criminal Law, including the efiling of respective Petitions and Motions and disseminating potential exculpatory materials/Discovery to interested parties, in addition to filing Entries of Appearances, along with various Motions, Petitions and other drafts in general.

I was also responsible for assessing the urgency of situations and determine appropriate actions, monitor status of pending item, provide follow up as necessary and ensure our attorneys are kept apprised by communicating a wide variety of information to maintain an effective workplace. I also helped with CWM/Chris Cottone Financial Advisors through Notarizing for his clients and through assisting with mutual clients of both Firms. (Bush & Patchett stated they longer were utilizing an Office Administrator/Assistant at the time.)

*April, 2020 – Present: Beautiful Recovery (BR), LLC., Moscow Mills, MO (home office):-Resource and Support Facilitator: BR’s mission is to support survivors of Traumatic Brain Injuries (TBIs) in a variety of ways. Our foremost priorities are to help our clients successfully navigate their individual paths towards independence, which include, but are not limited to various mental exercises to increase the brain's neuroplasticity, to create/train neural pathways, which assist in the communication among neurotransmitters. We also provide occupational support through guiding their retraining and relearning of various daily activities, by assisting in their creating resumes for potential employers, through facilitating community integration/involvement, support groups, providing resources to achieve these goals. (Still assist if needed.)

*November, 2019 – June, 2020: Central Missouri Community Action (CMCA), Jefferson City, MO: -Early Head Start Teacher: Provide and facilitate child development, health, nutrition and family services to children birth to three- years- old, teaching in the classroom, parent conference, home visits, facilitate structured learning environment, actively supervises and engages with children, evaluate developmental milestones assists families with self-sufficiency, develop child goals based on individual assessments, daily curriculum and lesson plans, including Individual Education Plans, Behavior Support Plans, etc. (Moved to assist with the development and growth of BR.)

*June, 2018 – May, 2019: Help At Home (HAH), Jefferson City, MO: -Branch Director - Developmental Disabilities: Manage daily operations of the branch, ensure staff (15+/-) is performing work with clients as assigned, coordinate events/activities, handle staff payroll, interview, hire and train new hires, communicate needs with Area/State Director, enter office, staff and client budget/expenses, utilize E-Verify and FCSR for pre-employment screening/background purposes and perform other duties as needed.
