Fabrication Welder Myers Mixers - BELL CA, CA 01/2016 - 04/2021 At Myers Mixers I would fabricate mixing machines, mixing blades, tanks, and headers to hold the motors. Welding process would consist of either MIG or TIG welding either stainless steel or carbon steel. Rotated tanks using 20 ton over head crane with either metal chains or straps. Reading and following blueprints and weld diagrams in order to insure that all parts fabricated to their specific dimensions and were with in tolerances. Task were performed using various tools like band saw, angle grinder, 10 ton press, drill press. angle grinder with a cut off wheel, plasma cutter or oxy-acetylene torch. Some jobs would require to be pressure tested at 40 psi to ensure that welds were 100 percent leak proof and that welds would be able to hold through the jobs life span. Used jigs, fixtures and tools for assembly of parts and components. Retrieve material using a forklift. Ensuring that all chip bins from CNC machines were emptied to their corresponding container which was determined by material type (steel, stainless, aluminum, inconel, titanium).
