VICE PRESIDENT OF OPERATIONS • CONFIDENTIAL ︎
I currently lead a team of Supervisors and Managers in all aspects of the production process. I work closely with our operations group, including Quality, Production, Scheduling, Logistics, Safety, Maintenance, Facilities, Planning, Purchasing, and HR to ensure efficiency across all areas of our production process. As the leader of the Management team, I have been able to help significantly reduce employee turnover, while stabilizing and training team members and positively affecting costs and reducing overtime attributed to poor production performance. Working with several Continuous Improvement teams has allowed me to keep a finger on the pulse of all aspects of our business while driving overall plant success to the next level.
SENIOR BUSINESS UNIT LEADER •BENDIX KNORR-BREMSE• 2018 TO 2021
I have led several high performance work teams in several departments under the Huntington, Indiana umbrella. I have been a part of several process improvement teams, and have helped to implement new safety, quality, and productivity initiatives. My understanding of lean manufacturing, and 6sigma methodology, has helped me to improve my departments quality output, as well as reduction in scrap and waste. I work closely with our plant leadership team, as well as with the hourly associates to achieve maximum productivity through dedication to continuous improvement.
PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR • LAFAYETTE STEEL • 2012 TO 2018
I held the position of Production Lead Supervisor. While in this role I participated in several Continuous Improvement groups both directly and indirectly. I implemented several process changes that improved the Safety, Quality, and Productivity of several departments. I participated in a formal
6sigma GB/BB program, which added depth to my understanding of Continuous Improvement methodology. I was directly involved in implementing a new TPM effort and worked closely with my peers to improve our processes and positively affect our daily production efforts. I served not only as a Supervisor, but as a Mentor to my peers, a voice between Hourly Associates and Management, and an advocate for a safe, and high-quality production department.
PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR • MERITOR • 2008 TO 2012
Through Arvin Meritor, I was assigned to oversee production operations for a manufacturing facility inside the Pendleton Indiana Maximum Security Reformatory.
