Expanded knowledge and experience in advanced topics in such as implants, rotary endodontics, IV moderate conscious sedation, fixed and removable prosthodontics, exodontia, and much more. 2 months of internal medicine and anesthesiology rotations at the VA hospital, as well as, a separate month where dental work in an operating room setting was performed for physically and mentally handicapped patients due to their inability to be seen in a normal dental setting. Additionally, on-call service in the emergency department at the UK hospital was provided for emergency dental needs such as draining abscesses, dental-alveolar trauma, excessive bleeding, etc. The patient base included but not limited to Pre/Post radiation, chemotherapy, organ transplant, bone marrow transplant, etc.

Performed many extractions individually, along with operative procedures with the SAMS team treating over 2,000 Syrian refugees.

Myself and colleagues performed simple/surgical extractions and operative dentistry for 446 underserved patients in Hazard, KY amounting to over $240,000 in services.
