The Garage Door Guys, LLC
Lawrenceville, GA 30044
Office Assistant
5/12/2021-3/1/2022
Started as an Office Assistant answering inbound calls, collecting information for established customers, new residential customers, custom home builders, and established builders. I kept an organized notebook for every call and/or text that came to the office phone.
The Garage Door Guys is also a Home Depot service provider and there are two types of programs Home Depot offers:
1. F&I - Customers buy directly from Home Depot through their portal, I would then reach out to the customer and schedule them for a site inspection to submit to Home Depot to get their order into production or start a change order. The orders come directly from Clopay’s plant in Ohio and are delivered to the distribution center, then delivered to our warehouse. I would then reach out to the customer to schedule their installation and follow up with them after to make sure they were 100% satisfied with the work our technician(s) provided. 2. SF&I - Customers will either call a local Home Depot store and have a COS put in a service request for them or they would go into the store and be put in the portal, which would come to our company email, I would then set them up in our system as an “Opportunity” and call them to gather as much information as possible to provide them with an initial estimate based on the details given to me. I typically would request pictures so I could get an idea of what work would need to be performed.
I was given a $2.00 an hour raise after my 90-day review. Promoted to Office Manager - Worked Remotely
March 2022-June 2023
I handled all of the above mentioned, as well as checking invoices to make sure they matched up with sales orders.
Received and processed deposits and final payments once the job was completed. An office assistant was hired around November of 2022 to help assist me with the tasks that I took care of as office assistant when I first started.
I was given a $3.00 an hour raise before I became a project manager. Promoted to Project Manager in Sales - New Construction, Residential, Commercial June-2023 - Current
I have formed close, professional relationships with contractors, custom home builders, residential clients, Home Depot clients, and property management companies, home warranty companies. I am the first person to handle an account that gets escalated when the office assistant is not able to do so. I put commercial contracts together when we are sent a bid request, which entails looking at their specifications, shop drawings, and anything specific they may need to get them the most accurate proposal possible. Commercial bids all have due dates and they are very time sensitive so I really focused on getting those proposals completed and turned in with pictures, shop drawings, flyers or brochures, color charts, anything that the sub-contractor or contractor would ask for.
I have helped obtain over 26,126 new customers since I began in 2021. I typically send out around 25-30 estimates a week, with over 90% of those estimates turning into sales. Lightway Recovery for Women

Trained other staff members in the kitchen with a prepared kitchen policy and procedures folder. Made sure the kitchen stayed up to code per Georgia’s Health Department requirements. Facilitated groups to help women learn how to live a clean and sober life. Worked as a temporary sponsor for some of the residents until they phased up in the program to go to “outside” recovery meetings until they obtained a permanent sponsor.
