I believe in the power of photography incorporating any and all mediums. These include BW and Color analog photography, small, medium and large formats. Digital Photography, utilizing the very best and most current equipment on the market.
I champion the photographic tangible print, mounted in all acid free materials, signed and titled by the artist. All BW and color films are processed by the photographer before being hand printed in the darkroom utilizing custom printing techniques. Custom darkroom printing is an art form in itself. All custom printing must utilize the most archival materials on the market. I have found that Ilford products provide the best charcoal blacks and snowy whites necessary for BW printing. For analog color reproductions I prefer Kodak Endura Metallic papers. In the Digital realm I recommend using all archival papers and inks be utilized, being outputted by the best inkjet printers one can afford. Epson has manufactured some excellent inkjet printers including the Stylus Pro 4900's. The archival papers I recommend are the Ulra Premium Photo Paper Luster and the Metallic Gloss.
Once the final prints have been completed, they should be mounted utilizing all acid free Matt board and foamcore. Once mounting has been completed, the artist must sign and entitle the pieces. The titles cannot be flippant or predictable. They must be well thought out, relevant, applicable, unique, not malicious, and properly spelled. Once all of the pieces have been completed, they will be showcased in the best possible scenario. Either a gallery or the primary gathering location for the institution, such as the Town Hall is optimum. The presentation should be clean, well structured, tight, and well lit.
