Having worked for 7 years as RO plant operator I acquired the following skills:
1. Ensure an adequate supply of water for human consumption
2. Follow all safety and sanitation policies
3. Keep a daily log
4. Maintain and operate the filtering and chemical treatment process
5. Maintain all related readings and documentation
6. Repair and lubricates machines and equipment, using hand tools and power tools
7. Operate, observe and assist in the control and operation of the utilities / RO plant. This includes starting, stopping equipment, adding treatment chemicals as instructed by others in order to maintain / optimize systems and plant performance.
8. Clean and maintain conventional filter systems
9. Operate and control electric motors, pumps, and valves to regulate flow of raw water into treating plant
10. Control treatment plant machines and equipment to purify and clarify water for human consumption and for industrial use.
11. Regulate specified amounts of chemicals, such as chlorine, ammonia, and lime into water or adjusts automatic devices that inject specified amounts of chemicals into tanks to disinfect, deodorize, and clarify water
