EMPLOYMENT: Re7red in 2019 a@er nearly 40 years of varying employment in the medical device manufacturing industry.

Re7red as the Director of Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs for a dental abrasives manufacturer.

Worked in various engineering posi7ons related to both manufacturing and quality, such as: Dra@sman, Documenta7on Specialist, Process Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer, Quality Engineer, Quality Supervisor, Quality Manager, and Director of Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs. EDUCATION: Quality Sciences, Master’s Degree, Eastern Michigan University, 1992. Industrial Technology, Bachelor’s Degree, Eastern Michigan University, 1984. STRENGTHS: Customer service oriented, results oriented, family oriented, communica7ve, punctual, scrupulous, re7red and doesn’t need benefits, doesn’t smoke or vape anything, rarely consumes alcohol (never on the job), enjoys driving.

WEAKNESSES: Handicapped (limited mobility, strength in dominant le@ shoulder and am unable to stand for extended periods of 7me or walk long distances), prefer to be given an assignment then be le@ alone to complete it, doesn’t like repe77ve, superfluous, tasks (such as: filling out paperwork and having to sign my name in several different places, filling out the same document asking the same ques7ons in mul7ple scenarios).

MISCELLANEOUS: I s7ll coach volleyball and am unavailable some evenings and weekends throughout the club season (December – June).

We have five grandchildren that all live locally, so we enjoy our all too limited 7me with them (when we can).

We are in7mately involved with the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) and are both Life Members of the VFW Auxiliary. My wife is the Auxiliary President at our home Post in Wixom and she is on the Board of Director’s at the Michigan Veterans Founda7on (MVF) in downtown Detroit (MVF is a transi7onal housing facility for formerly homeless Veterans). I am an Ambassador with Fisher House Michigan, which is like a Ronald McDonald House, but for military personnel, Veterans, and their families. I represent Fisher House Michigan at various events to raise awareness for this incredible organiza7on.
