PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Vetune (501c/non-profit) July 2022 - Present President/Founder: Developed training protocols and unique user experiences to educate, train, and assist veterans struggling with anxiety, stress, and depression. This initiative aims to assist private and public sector organizations in detecting and mitigating risky behaviors that may threaten the organization if not rectified (Insider Threat). It also aids in the rapid development and implementation of new Department of Defense (DoD) cybersecurity policies, procedures, and technologies, while helping military-trained veterans rejoin the workforce outside of government service. Lessons are based on knowledge and concepts derived from the analysis of RF signal waveforms, emerging technologies, and their healthy incorporation into daily routines and perspectives.
Strong Connexions Inc. June 2021 - July 2022 Vice President: Formulated and implemented strategic plans guiding the business towards cybersecurity and government compliance. Developed digital marketing efforts and community educational seminars, incorporating social media content. Defined and enhanced employee job skills. Developed new business strategies in cyber forensics and penetration testing. Member of the Salt Lake Chamber’s Cybersecurity Leadership Council and hosted a monthly podcast on current cybersecurity-related topics.
Department of Defense (DoD) – National Security Issues December 2004 - December 2019 Division Chief: Supported DoD space-based missions utilizing RF technologies to provide accurate indications and warnings (I&W) and potential countermeasure development to ensure asset protection. Technologies involved included large phased-array radar (LPAR) and Position Navigation & Timing (PNT) systems. Mission Manager: Supported DoD counterintelligence missions through the successful incorporation of RF-domain collection and analytical strategies. Assisted in the rapid identification and tracking of potential espionage threats through the fusion of multi-disciplined approaches with best practices observed in RF signal analysis, such as baselining. RF Signals Analyst: Supported DoD developmental efforts through the monitoring, collection, analysis, and reporting of high-priority RF signals and informational data sets associated with advanced communication systems.
Lockheed Martin October 2002 - December 2004 Technical Adviser: Provided timely technical expertise for a real-time 24/7 operations work center comprised of military and contract employees. Created, edited, and maintained several technical working aides and quality assurance databases. Responsible for maintaining military workforce training records.
US Army Signal Corps October 1996 - October 1999 Signal Analyst: Analyzed and drafted numerous written reports derived from various RF signals during time-sensitive situations. Managed all team records and training schedules.
