Purchasing/Logistics Manager

The Broaster Company – Beloit, Wisconsin - 2018 – 2023 Full responsibility for purchasing/supply chain of $26M annually, with direct planning and forecasting of raw materials, supplier agreements, and management of supply base domestically and internationally. Full responsibility for company Logistics function of nearly $4M annually with negotiation and administration of all inbound and outbound freight operations including international, UPS, and FEDEX agreements.

• Developed processes, operational planning, for entire supply chain consisting of supplier quality qualification and management.

• Developed and maintained costing for all purchase components, and contracted commodities such as steel, electronics, and products such as flour and oil used in making finished products. Maintained CAPX projects for major equipment and projects with SOW and contract guidelines established. Developed and maintained metrics

• Negotiated and managed all freight and shipping agreements. Full knowledge of customs requirements

• Responsible for all purchases in Toledo Ohio facility $6M spend. Responsible for purchasing development metrics, spend analysis, and cost improvement goal performance. Additional spending generated in Rockford facility with raw materials, machining, and subcontracted processes.

• Developed processes, operational planning, for entire supply chain consisting of supplier quality qualification and management within Honeywell guidelines.

• Generated savings due to supplier reduction and combined spending of plants reducing operating and freight costs by partnering plants with similar requirements.
