MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for preparing accurate financial reporting.

Worked closely with the CEO and Plant Manager to drive performance improvement.

Manage the AR, AP and Banking deposits.

Oversaw a robust system of financials, all state and federal taxes, 940, 941 and sales tax.

Provided regular and reliable cash forecasts.

Prepared monthly, quarterly, and annual performance reports.

Ensured bill of materials and costing accurately reflecting production operations.

Interface with outside audit firm(s), banks and lessors, and casualty/liability insurance agent(s).

Oversaw and managed accounts payable and accounts receivable.

Prepared and maintained accounts of all vendors and suppliers.

Comply with federal, state, and local legal requirements. Assure adherence to Generally Accepted Accounting Policies (GAAP).

SKILLS

Proficient with QuickBooks.

Proficient in Microsoft Office with Excel.

Strong business acumen (management principles, strategic planning, critical thinking, budgeting, resource allocation, etc.).

Ability to influence and engage others in a collaborative manner.

Ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently and meet deadlines.

10+ years of experience in an accounting/financial management role

a mix of experience in a major accounting service with financial management experience gained in a high-growth manufacturing organization.
