Executive Director-Full P&L accountability for a privately held collections agency

handling 3rd and 1st-party debt collections for ER and Hospitalist accounts located throughout the country.

2001 – 2011 Professional Collection Systems (Florida Hospital/TOG) Orlando, Florida

Director & Compliance Officer-Full P&L accountability for a third-party, hospital

system-owned, debt collection agency specializing in medical debt. Restructured and lev-

eraged people, processes, and technology to make the organization more efficient and effect-

tive while being mindful of budget. Worked closely with hospital-partners to identify gaps

and weaknesses to strengthen their front-end processes and reduce bad debt expense.

PCS was later acquired by The Outsource Group in August of 2010.

1997- 2001 Patient Financial Services/ Florida Hospital Orlando, Florida

Legal Coordinator- Analyzed patients’ finances from a collections’

perspective to make the determination on whether to pursue small claims

or refer to outside counsel for collections. Drafted legal

documents, including judgments, mortgages, promissory notes and

stipulations to satisfy debt and reduce potential bad debt write offs.

1994-1997 Assistant Manager / TONY ROMA’S Orlando, Florida

Interviewed, hired, trained, counseled, and evaluated all personnel.

Assisted in the training of new managers including several General

Managers. Maintained P&L accountability for a $2.5M operation

serving 600-800 guests per day. Coordinated the Employee-of-the-

to assist as a trouble-shooter in other stores in Alabama and Florida by
