About Me
I am 23 years old and currently in school to obtain my license in Aesthetics. I decided earlier this year to change my career direction completely, I had originally attended SJSU and obtained my bachelor’s degree in Journalism with the expectation of becoming a radio personality, but decided it wasn’t the career for me. Then, I moved from California to New York to try and get some inspiration and figure out which career path was best for me. I have always been into everything beauty related including skin care, hair, and makeup. Growing up with two older sisters I was always their model when it came to experimenting with different hair and makeup styles. I found it to be a great way to stay close to my siblings, learn new creative ways for me to look at styles, and learn more about the skin and the correct application of products. It wasn’t until I had a conversation with an esthetician one day that sparked the motivation of going back to school to pursue this goal. I ultimately am trying to gain as much experience in this industry especially while I am in school. I want to be as well-rounded as possible, open, and willing to learn. Eventually, I would like to go into a nursing program so I can specialize in Injectables as well. My goal is to one day be a very successful esthetician that specializes in making my clients feel more beautiful and confident than they did prior to entering my treatment room. Work Experience
