BACKGROUND

I am an Electric Boat Trained and educated Nuclear Outside Machinist, Overhaul and Repair Detail Planner, currently working as an NRMD Nuclear Operations Supervisor. I have been with the company for 20+ years. I am a self-motivator, continually striving for improved performance. Capable of resolving difficult problems and proficient in the latest Planning technology and reading / interpretation of Blueprints.

Responsibilities to include:

Reviewing all open Drawings for hold-up on key events through delivery and post-delivery.

Work with team partners on Virginia class in NNS, QP, and Groton during Module shipment process to review and reconcile open liabilities.

Review, and reconcile discrepancies holding up electronic closure of documents.

Work with various departments such as Operations, Design, Planning, Program office, and Engineering performing research throughout Electronic Closure process to cut-down, eliminate hold-up of documentation closure.

Reviewing Technical Work Documents.

Creating Work Packages for the Trades to perform work in accordance with.

Reviewing and scheduling work for accomplishment.

Nuclear Outside Machinist

Performing nuclear repairs on and off ship.

Occasional decontamination practices at the CIF.

Was Q,B,P,I Trained to perform Contamination control work practices here and for NRMD.

Was Nuclear Valve repair Trained and qualified.

Well trained to work with Overhaul & Repair TWD’s such as NCR notices, and CR’s as well as Non-Nuclear TWD’s such as TGI’s

Have worked with various Trades in all areas of Nuclear Repair Work throughout Electric Boat as well as NRMD.

Strong background working with working with Support Trades such as Nuclear test, Engineering, and NQC Inspection. :
