Duties included creating the Capitation monthly financials and analytical reporting for Sutter Health Sacramento Sierra Region (SHSSR). This consisted of producing reports and then recording journal entries into Lawson. Some of the reports were Membership, PMPM Revenue Allocation, Outpatient and Inpatient IBNR, Recovery Receivables, Internal Transfers, and Allocated Capitation Revenue. Along with also booking Interest Income and Case Management Fees into Lawson. Other job duties included monthly Profit and Loss Variance Analysis, Outpatient Surgery Utilization, Quality Improvement Payout (QIP) reports, Bed Days and Admits Utilization report, Capitation Performance packet, and PCP Utilization reports, along with various Ad Hoc reporting. When I started in this position, most of the processes consisted of manually cutting and pasting data into Excel. I made huge contributions to the department by automating numerous manual processes into Microsoft Access reports. This eliminated man hours and increased proficiency and accuracy.
