Troubleshoot multiple issues with EMDS and 6 MTU 4000 V16. Perform mechanical, electrical, and component change out and overhauls. Qualified and commissioned the units back in to service. Resolve switchgear issues pertaining to non-synchronizing Units to ensure interaction with the buss engine/ electrical problems, HMI, Panels, and VFD controls Allan Bradley & Siemens.
● Ensured provision of continuous power for the gold mine and the associated facilities through effective operation and management of power plant at all levels.
● Monitored SCR readings and adjusted the Urea based on the percentage of Load output for Emission testing per state regulations.
